Press Release – Small Business Summit 2010

(Southfield, MI, USA - January 25, 2010) With the Michigan economy showing no real signs of recovery for the next few years, more and more residents, concerned with their well being, are looking to supplement their dwindling or often lack of income by starting their own Home Based Business.  Other small to medium-sized companies are strictly looking for bank financing in order to survive the next few years.  However, due to the ever changing regulations in the banking industry, most have been unsuccessful in getting approved for even small loans.

With these two problems in mind, The Wayne Turner Group, a national financial education consulting firm, is holding a “Small Business Summits,” February 13, 2010, in order to help Michigan residents and companies to achieve their dreams. By working along in conjunction with Local Banking Institutions, Certified Public Accounts, Business Plan Writers, Credit Restoration Experts and Small Business Administration Specialists, they will educate everyone in attendance how they can be successful regardless of their current situation.

According to Wayne Turner, the Group’s President and an experienced speaker and educator, “The number one problem that start up’s and small businesses face today is not that there isn’t any financing available, it’s that no one knows how to obtain it in today’s market.  The banks aren’t real forthcoming with their guidelines, because quite frankly, they change daily, and usually don’t even know where they are headed from one day to the next.  However the one thing that remains constant is this one fact: if you are guided properly, YOU WILL GET FINANCING!”

At the core of the Summit is education.  The summit will cover such topics as: “Starting a Business in Michigan for under $50,” “How to Repair Personal and Business Credit,” “How to Build Business Credit,” “Secrets to getting a SBA Loan,” “The Importance of Having a Business Plan,” and “Unsecured Lines of Credit, The Wave of the Future.”

“We’re going to show folks how to get their hands on the part of the $4.5 Billion dollars of Stimulus Money that was released and the $175 million dollars of Micro Loan money that has been targeted to Southeast Michigan!  Why shouldn’t everyone get their fair chance at the money,” asks Turner?   The money is slated for the small common person and we intend to make sure that it is exactly where it’s distributed, to the small and common person!”

To attend the event, sponsored by several local banks, all one has to do is contact the office of The Wayne Turner Group at 248-552-6606 in order to reserve their seat. The cost is only $20 in advance, or $35 at the door, and attendees may bring one guest.  When asked about the fee to attend, Turner responds, “Only those willing to commit to themselves will be successful in starting or maintaining a business in Michigan’s economy in 2010.  The fee is to separate the men from the boys.  If someone can’t commit twenty dollars to their future, then quite frankly their business will more than likely fail. Nothing comes easy in Michigan.  However, we are all about helping those who want to succeed, but are also willing to commit to their future.   If one thing the past couple years have shown us who live in Michigan, it’s the fact that only the strong will survive.

Wayne Turner is excited about the opportunity to help the residents of Michigan, and the chance to give back to a struggling Michigan economy.  “We can rebuild Michigan; we just have to do it one person, one business, and one community at a time.  The best way to do that is by building small businesses to be successful.
